Avis is located at the southern end of New Haven’s Union Station — opposite the departures board and the stairs to the tunnel. Very convenient if you’re arriving by train, but you can also get downtown easily by grabbing a taxi in front of the station or catching the green bus to downtown. Or it’s not a terribly long walk if you would like the exercise.
