Kennedy International Airport is located on the outskirts of the Queens borough of New York City. Of your transportation options for getting to New Haven, we usually prefer the cheap one: Long Island Railroad to Penn Station, then a quick jaunt across Manhattan to Grand Central Terminal to catch Metro North Railroad to New Haven Union Station. CT Limo is another option for an easy ride to and from New Haven. And though you won’t need a car for any of the events we have planned, you could also rent from one of the rental companies located at the airport — but we don’t really recommend the drive through New York City.
